Mini Beef Tostadas

Ingredients

pound ground beef
|
|
1
|
tablespoon instant minced onion
|
|
1
|
can (8 ounces) refried beans
|
|
1
|
can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles, drained (optional)
|
|
1/2
|
cup bottled taco sauce
|
|
4
|
dozen round tortilla chips
|
|
1
|
cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
|
|
|

|
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook and stir beef and onion in large skillet over medium heat about 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; drain and discard drippings.
|
|
2. Stir in beans, chilies, if desired, and taco sauce; cook and stir until bubbly, about 4 minutes. Spoon about 1 heaping tablespoon of the beef mixture on top of each tortilla chip; sprinkle with cheese. Place on baking sheets.

3. Bake until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes.
