Pear Gorgonzola Melts
Makes 4 sandwiches

Pear Gorgonzola Melt
ounces creamy Gorgonzola cheese (do not use crumbled blue cheese)
slices walnut raisin bread
pears, cored and sliced
cup fresh spinach leaves
Spread cheese evenly on 4 bread slices; layer with pears and spinach. Top with remaining bread slices. Brush outsides of sandwiches with butter.
Place large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Add sandwiches; cook 4 to 5 minutes per side or until cheese melts and sandwiches are golden brown.
