Burgundy Beef Pasta

pound top sirloin, very thinly sliced crosswise

cloves garlic, minced

teaspoon dried thyme leaves

teaspoons vegetable oil

pound fresh mushrooms, sliced

can (14-1/2 ounces) DEL MONTE® Stewed Tomatoes, No Salt Added with Onions, Celery & Green Peppers

can (8 ounces) DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce (No Salt Added)

cup dry red wine

Chopped parsley (optional)

1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
|
|
2. Cook sirloin, garlic and thyme in oil in large skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes.
|
|
3. Add mushrooms; cook 1 minute. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce and wine.
|
|
4. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

TIP
Cook pasta ahead; rinse and drain. Cover and refrigerate. Just before serving, heat in microwave or dip in boiling water.
