Backyard Burgers

Ingredients

pounds ground beef
|
|
1/3
|
cup barbecue sauce, divided
|
|

tablespoons finely chopped onion
|
|
1/2
|
teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
|
|
6

onion hamburger buns, split and toasted
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. Combine ground beef, 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce, onion and oregano in large bowl. Shape into six 1-inch-thick patties.

|
2. Place patties on grill rack directly above medium coals. Grill, uncovered, until desired doneness, turning and brushing often with remaining barbecue sauce. To serve, place patties on buns.
