Ingredients
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (4.3-ounce) package RICE-A-RONI® Long Grain & Wild Rice-Original
2-1/2 cups broccoli flowerets
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans, toasted
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese or crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
   
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
1. In medium saucepan over medium-high heat, melt margarine. Add onion and garlic; sauté 2 minutes.
2. Add 1-2/3 cups water, rice mix and Special Seasonings; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 20 minutes.
3. Stir in broccoli. Cover; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until white rice is tender. Stir in nuts and top with cheese.
