Ingredients
1 (6.5-ounce) package RICE-A-RONI® Broccoli Au Gratin
2-1/2 tablespoons margarine or butter
3/4 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
2 cups frozen chopped broccoli
1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
   
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
1. In large skillet over medium heat, sauté rice-pasta mix with margarine until pasta is light golden brown.
2. Slowly stir in 2-1/4 cups water, chicken and Special Seasonings; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 10 minutes.
3. Stir in broccoli, mushrooms and pepper. Cover; cook 5 to 10 minutes or until rice is tender and chicken is no longer pink inside. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
