Chocolate Bursts
Makes about 3 dozen cookies

Ingredients

squares (1 ounce each) semisweet chocolate
|
|
1/2

cup (1 stick) I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER!® Spread
|
|
3/4
|
cup sugar
|
|
2
|
eggs
|
|
1/3
|
cup all-purpose flour
|
|
1/4
|
cup unsweetened cocoa powder
|
|
1-1/2
|
teaspoons vanilla extract
|
|
1
|
teaspoon baking powder
|
|
1/4
|
teaspoon salt
|
|

cups coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
|
|
1

cup semisweet chocolate chips
|
|
|

|
Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease baking sheets; set aside.
|

In medium microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate squares and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread on HIGH (Full Power) 1 to 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted. Stir until completely melted.

In large bowl, with electric mixer, beat sugar and eggs until light and ribbony, about 2 minutes. Beat in chocolate mixture, flour, cocoa, vanilla, baking powder and salt, scraping side occasionally, until well blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared sheets, about 2 inches apart.

Bake 15 minutes or until cookies are just set. On wire rack, let stand 2 minutes; remove from sheets and cool completely.
