Ingredients

|
tablespoons olive oil
|
|
1

(2-1/2- to 3-pound) chicken, cut into pieces
|
|
1
|
medium onion, sliced
|
|
1/4
|
cup balsamic vinegar
|
|
1
|
jar (1 pound 10 ounces) RAGÚ® Old World Style® Pasta Sauce
|
|
1
|
cup pitted ripe olives
|
|
1
|
tablespoon drained capers
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. In 12-inch skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and brown chicken. Remove chicken and set aside.
|
|
2. In same skillet, add onion and vinegar and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Stir in Pasta Sauce. Return chicken to skillet and simmer, covered, 25 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Stir in olives and capers; heat through. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked rice and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Recipe Tip
Be sure to use the best quality balsamic vinegar you can find. In general, the longer it's been aged, the deeper and tastier the flavor.
