Quick and Spicy Pork Chili

pound ground pork
|

medium onion, coarsely chopped
|

clove garlic, minced
|

(16-ounce) can kidney beans, drained
|
|

(14-1/2-ounce) can Mexican-style diced tomatoes
|

(8-ounce) can tomato sauce
|
|
1
|
(8-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
|
|

tablespoons chili powder
|
|

tablespoon ground cumin
|
|

teaspoon salt
|
|
1/2

teaspoon black pepper

In large saucepan, cook and stir pork with onion and garlic until pork is no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 15 minutes, until flavors are blended and chili is hot. Serve with shredded Cheddar cheese and warmed flour tortillas, if desired.
