Peanut Butter-Hop-Scotch Treats

Ingredients

cups corn flakes
|

1-1/2

cups "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, divided
|
|
3/4
|
cup butterscotch chips
|
|
1/2
|
cup creamy peanut butter
|
|
1/4
|
cup light corn syrup
|
|

tablespoons butter, divided
|
|
6

squares (1 ounce each) semi-sweet chocolate
|
|

|
|
|
|
Lightly grease 13×9-inch baking pan; set aside. In large bowl combine cereal and 1 cup "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits; set aside. In heavy saucepan melt butterscotch chips, peanut butter, corn syrup and 2 tablespoons butter over low heat, stirring often until mixture is smooth. Pour melted mixture over cereal mixture, tossing lightly until thoroughly coated. Gently press into prepared pan with buttered fingers. In small saucepan melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter and chocolate over low heat. Spread chocolate mixture over cereal mixture; decorate with remaining 1/2 cup "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Store in tightly covered container.
