Sausages in Beer
Makes 8 to 10 servings

Ingredients

|
ounces Italian sweet sausage
|
|
8
|
ounces Italian hot sausage
|
|
8
|
ounces kielbasa
|
|
8
|
ounces bockwurst (veal sausage)
|
|
5
|
green onions, minced
|
|
1
|
cup beer
|
|
1
|
tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley <U>or</U> 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

1/2

teaspoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
Cut sausages into 1/2-inch pieces with sharp knife. Cook Italian sausage in deep skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain.

Add remaining sausages and green onions to skillet; cook 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low; add beer, parsley, if desired, and TABASCO® Sauce. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into chafing dish. (Sausages may be frozen for future use.)
