1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.
2. Prepare, bake and cool cake following package directions for basic recipe.
3. To assemble, place half the Vanilla Frosting in small bowl. Tint with green food coloring; set aside. Place one cake layer on serving plate. Spread with half of untinted vanilla frosting. Top with second cake layer. Spread green frosting on sides of cake. Spread remaining Vanilla Frosting on top of cake. Arrange pretzel sticks and candy-coated chocolate pieces on sides of cake as shown in photo. Place lollipops on top of cake for "drumsticks."
Tip
For a brighter green frosting, as shown in photo, use paste food colors available from cake decorating and specialty shops.
