Homemade Irish Cream Liqueur

Ingredients

cups whipping cream or coffee cream
|
|
1
|
(14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
|
|
1-1/4
|
to 1-3/4 cups Irish whiskey, brandy, rum, bourbon, Scotch or rye whiskey
|
|

|
tablespoons chocolate syrup
|
|
2
|
teaspoons instant coffee
|
|
1
|
teaspoon vanilla extract
|
|
1/2
|
teaspoon almond extract
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

1. In blender container, combine whipping cream, EAGLE BRAND®, whiskey, chocolate syrup, coffee, vanilla and almond extracts; blend until smooth.

2. Serve over ice. Store leftovers tightly covered in refrigerator.

Homemade Cream Liqueur
Omit Irish whiskey, chocolate syrup, coffee and extracts. Add 1-1/4 cups flavored liqueur (almond, coffee, orange or mint) to EAGLE BRAND® and cream. Proceed as directed above.

Tip
For a more blended flavor, store the homemade liqueur in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.
