Mexican Coffee with Chocolate and Cinnamon
Yield: Makes 10 to 12 servings
Ingredients:

cups water

1/2
cup ground dark roast coffee

2
cinnamon sticks

1
cup half-and-half

1/3
cup chocolate syrup

1/4
cup packed dark brown sugar

1
teaspoon vanilla

1
cup whipping cream

1/4
cup powdered sugar

1/2
teaspoon vanilla

Ground cinnamon



Preparation:
1.
Place water in drip coffee maker. Place coffee and cinnamon sticks in coffee filter. Combine half-and-half, chocolate syrup, brown sugar and vanilla in coffee pot. Place coffee pot with cream mixture in coffee maker. Brew coffee; coffee will drip into chocolate cream mixture.

2.
Meanwhile, place whipping cream into medium bowl; beat with electric mixer at high speed until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until stiff peaks form. Pour coffee into individual coffee cups; top with dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
