Baked Spiced Squash

Baked Spiced Squash


This warm, sweet, cinnamon-flavored squash is irresistible.
 
Ingredients
2 boxes (10 ounces each) BIRDS EYE® frozen Cooked Winter Squash, thawed
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup herbed croutons, coarsely crushed
   
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 25 to 35 minutes
Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine squash, egg whites, sugar, butter and cinnamon; mix well.
Pour into 1-quart baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until center is set.
Remove from oven; sprinkle crushed croutons on top. Bake 5 to 7 minutes longer or until croutons are browned.
