Mom's Pumpkin Pie
Makes 2 (9-inch) pies

Mom's Pumpkin Pie


Ingredients
1-1/2 cans (15 ounces each) solid-pack pumpkin
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells
  Whipped cream (optional)
   
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients, except pie shells and whipped cream, in large bowl; mix well. Divide mixture evenly between pie shells.
2. Place pie pans on baking sheet. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean. Cool completely. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
