Cranberry Glazed Turkey Burgers

tablespoons minced fresh sage or 2 tablespoons dried sage
|

tablespoons minced fresh thyme or 1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves
|

tablespoons grated orange peel
|
|
|
Oil
|
|

tablespoons jellied cranberry sauce, melted
|
|

whole wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted
|
|

tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
|
|

Prepare grill for medium-hot direct heat cooking. In large bowl, combine ground turkey, sage, thyme and orange peel; mix well. Divide mixture into 6 portions and shape into patties. Brush grill rack with oil. Place patties on grilll; brush tops of patties with melted cranberry sauce. Grill 4 minutes or until browned on bottom. Turn and cook 4 minutes longer or until meat is thoroughly cooked and no longer pink, brushing frequently with cranberry sauce. Brush toasted buns with mayonnaise. Place patties on bun bottoms; top with bacon and spinach leaves. Cover with bun tops.
