Cranberry Glazed Turkey Burgers
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
2 JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® Ground Turkey (1-pound) packages, thawed
6 tablespoons minced fresh sage or 2 tablespoons dried sage
3 tablespoons minced fresh thyme or 1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves
3 tablespoons grated orange peel
  Oil
6 tablespoons jellied cranberry sauce, melted
6 whole wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted
3 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
12 BLACK LABEL® bacon slices, cooked
  Fresh spinach leaves
   
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Prepare grill for medium-hot direct heat cooking. In large bowl, combine ground turkey, sage, thyme and orange peel; mix well. Divide mixture into 6 portions and shape into patties. Brush grill rack with oil. Place patties on grilll; brush tops of patties with melted cranberry sauce. Grill 4 minutes or until browned on bottom. Turn and cook 4 minutes longer or until meat is thoroughly cooked and no longer pink, brushing frequently with cranberry sauce. Brush toasted buns with mayonnaise. Place patties on bun bottoms; top with bacon and spinach leaves. Cover with bun tops.
