Mandarin Steak Salad
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
1/3 cup French's® Spicy Brown Mustard
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, reserve 1/4 cup liquid
1 pound boneless sirloin steak (1 inch thick)
8 cups mixed salad greens, washed and torn
2 green onions, thinly shredded
1/3 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped
   
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
1. Combine mustard, teriyaki sauce, sugar, garlic powder and ginger in small bowl. Stir in reserved mandarin orange liquid. Pour 1/2 cup dressing into serving bowl.
2. Brush remaining dressing on steak. Broil or grill steak 10 minutes or until desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes.
3. Thinly slice steak. Serve over salad greens. Top with oranges, green onions and peanuts. Drizzle with reserved dressing.
