cups "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, divided

container (16 ounces) white frosting
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease bottoms of 1 (8-inch) round cake pan and 1 (8×8×2-inch) baking pan. Line pans with waxed paper; lightly grease and flour pans; set aside. In large bowl beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. In medium bowl combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. In small bowl combine sour cream and buttermilk; add to creamed mixture alternately with dry ingredients, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans. Sprinkle batter in each pan with 1/2 cup "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Bake about 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool completely on wire racks. Cut round cake in half to make two semi-circles. Place square cake layer on large serving plate. Position one semi-circle cake along one side of square cake, connecting with some frosting. Position remaining semi-circle cake along adjacent side of square cake, to make heart shape; connect with some frosting. Frost entire cake with remaining frosting. Decorate with remaining 1/2 cup "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Store in tightly covered container.
