Ice Cream Cake Cones
Makes 2 dozen cake cones
Try these sweet treats for dessert at a birthday party.
 
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
24 flat-bottomed ice cream cones
1 cup thawed frozen nondairy whipped topping
1 cup any flavor frosting
1-1/4 cups "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, divided
   
Preheat oven to 350°F. In large bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir in sugar. Beat in butter, milk and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Add eggs; beat 2 minutes. Stand 24 ice cream cones on 2 cookie sheets. Divide batter evenly among cones. Sprinkle evenly with 3/4 cup "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire racks. In small bowl combine whipped topping and frosting. Frost cupcakes with frosting mixture, mounding to look like ice cream. Decorate with remaining 1/2 cup "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Serve immediately.
