Green Pea & Rice Almondine
Yield: Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:

teaspoons reduced-fat margarine
1
cup frozen petite green peas
1/4
teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4
teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch white pepper
Pinch ground cloves
3/4
cup cooked white rice
2
teaspoons slivered almonds
Preparation:
1.
Melt margarine in medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add peas, cardamom, cinnamon, pepper and cloves. Cook and stir 10 minutes or until peas are tender. Add rice. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with almonds.
