Roast Beef Po' Boy
Makes 4 sandwiches

Ingredients

tablespoons butter or margarine
|

tablespoons flour

cups sliced onion (1 large)

small green bell pepper, sliced (1 cup)

cups beef broth
|

teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
|

teaspoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce

teaspoon dried thyme leaves
|

(6-inch) French or round rolls
|

pound thinly sliced cooked beef
|
|

|
|
Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat; stir in flour. Cook about 4 minutes or until flour browns, stirring constantly. Add onion and green bell pepper; cook and stir about 5 minutes. Gradually stir in broth. Add Worcestershire sauce, TABASCO® Sauce and thyme; cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens.

Cut thin slice from top of each roll. Scoop out soft insides; fill with beef. Spoon gravy over beef. Replace tops on rolls.
