Crispy's Vanishing Pancakes
Makes 6 to 8 (5-inch) pancakes
Start your day in a colorful way with these yummy pancakes!
 
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1-1/2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup "M&M's"® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, divided
  Butter and maple syrup
   
Lightly grease and preheat griddle or large skillet over medium heat. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In medium bowl beat egg; gradually add buttermilk and oil until well blended. Blend egg mixture into flour mixture just until moistened. For each pancake, pour about 1/2 cup batter onto hot griddle. Sprinkle with about 1 tablespoon "M&M's"® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Cook until tops of pancakes appear dry; turn with spatula and cook 2 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with butter, maple syrup and remaining 1/4 cup "M&M's"® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Bits.
