Oniony Bacon 'n' Egg Salad
Makes 6 to 8 servings
Ingredients
1-1/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions
8 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
6 strips cooked bacon, chopped
3 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped (1 cup chopped)
1 rib celery, finely chopped
1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise
1 tablespoon French's® Spicy Brown Mustard
6 pita bread rounds, split
   
Prep Time 30 minutes
Cook Time 1 minute
Place French Fried Onions in medium microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 minute or until golden. Combine onions, eggs, bacon, tomatoes, celery, mayonnaise and mustard in large bowl. Mix just until eggs are moistened. Spoon into pita bread rounds.
 
Tip   Spoon salad into baked pastry shells or into cooked new potato shells and serve as an appetizer.
