Green's Butterscotch Blondies
Makes 3 dozen blondies
Try these decadent blondies bursting with butterscotch and chocolate flavor.
 
Ingredients
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/4 cups "M&M's"® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, divided
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
   
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 13×9-inch baking pan; set aside. In large bowl beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla. In medium bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in 1 cup "M&M's"® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, butterscotch chips and pecans. Spread in prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of caramel topping on batter; swirl with knife to marble. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup "M&M's"® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Bake about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove pan to wire rack; cool completely. Cut into bars. Store in tightly covered container.
