Strawberry shortcake, one of America's all-time favorite desserts, is made extra-special when it's sporting a dollop of whipped cream and a strawberry fan. Make cream puffs, eclairs or neapolitans all the more irresistible by tucking a strawberry fan or two at the base of each pastry before you serve it. Nothing beats the summer doldrums like a strawberry shake made with fresh strawberries and topped with a strawberry fan.
