Green Bean & Turkey Bake
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 packages (9 ounces each) frozen cut green beans, thawed
2 cups (12 ounces) cubed cooked turkey or chicken
1-1/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions, divided
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
3 cups hot mashed potatoes
   
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 50 minutes
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In 3-quart casserole, combine soup, milk and pepper; mix well. Stir in beans, turkey, 2/3 cup French Fried Onions and 1 cup cheese. Spoon mashed potatoes on top.
2. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and 2/3 cup onions. Bake 3 minutes or until onions are golden.
 
Microwave Directions   Prepare mixture as above except do not top with potatoes. Cover casserole with vented plastic wrap. Microwave on HIGH 15 minutes or until heated through, stirring halfway through cooking time. Uncover. Top with mashed potatoes, remaining cheese and onions. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 4 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.
 
Tip   Two (14-1/2-ounce) cans cut green beans (drained) can be used instead of frozen beans. You can substitute instant mashed potatoes prepared according to package directions for 6 servings.
