Zesty Bruschetta
Makes 20 to 24 pieces

Ingredients

baguette French bread, cut into 1-inch slices
|
|
1
|
cup diced plum tomatoes, drained of excess juice
|
|
1
|
(4-ounce) package feta cheese, crumbled
|
|
2
|
to 3 green onions, chopped
|
|
1/4
|
cup chopped black olives
|
|
2
|
tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
|
|
1
|
teaspoon olive oil
|
|
1/2
|
teaspoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
|
|
|
Salt to taste
|
|
|
Fresh basil sprigs (optional)
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Preheat broiler. Place bread slices on broiling pan and broil each side until lightly toasted. Set aside.
|
|
Gently combine remaining ingredients except basil sprigs in medium bowl until well blended. Top each bread slice generously with tomato mixture. Serve bruschetta on platter; garnish with basil sprigs, if desired.
