Juicing refers to the extraction of juice from fruits, most often citrus fruits. Reamers and juicers are inexpensive tools designed for this purpose (see Tools). Electric juicers are best for juicing vegetables and large quantities of fruit. Often, it is desirable to strain the juice to remove the pulp; this is done with a filtering device on the juicer or a sieve.
